Solid Body & Structural Analysis

In these projects, clients supply either drawings or computer models of their designs. An analysis model is then created in finite element analysis software, where connections, supports, and loading conditions are applied to examine load response and resulting stress distribution. The results highlight areas of high stress, and we work with clients to introduce reinforcements or design revisions as needed to reduce stresses and improve reliability.

Thermal Oxidizer Hydraulic Trailer

A client needed FEA performed on a trailer that they designed to raise and lower a thermal oxidizer.  Working with the client we identified some areas of stress that were higher than desired, and a design modification was implemented to resolve the issue.

Drilling Rig Raising Analysis

Another client had a significant increase in rigged-up equipment weight that required the raising forces to be re-analyzed.  The FEA results identified areas requiring reinforcement.  Further analysis of reinforcements confirmed acceptable stress levels.

75 Ton Hydraulic Neck Trailer

Another project was to review the stresses in a 75 Ton Hydraulic  Neck Trailer for a client.
